Is This Yorkshire’s Prettiest Space for Small Events?

If you’ve ever searched for the perfect space to host a workshop, mastermind or creative event — you’ll know the struggle is very real. To big and impersonal. Too corporate hotel-conference-room-y.

That’s why I’m opening up my natural light studio in Ossett for carefully curated small event hire and if you’re planning something a bit special, it might just be what you’re looking for.

So what’s the space like?

Think calm, cosy and full of character. Big windows. Soft, natural tones. Just the right amount of styling (you won’t need to bring a van full of pampas grass unless you really want to).

It’s designed for connection, creativity and clarity, whether you’re teaching something brilliant, launching something new, or gathering a group of lovely people to work on something meaningful.

And importantly: it doesn’t feel awkward or echo-y with a group of 6 or 8 people. That’s kind of the point.

What kind of events can you host?

Honestly, almost anything… as long as it fits 8 people or fewer and isn’t a children’s party.

Here are a few ideas:

  • Creative workshops (calligraphy, floristry, make-up masterclass — yes please)
  • Coaching days or business strategy sessions
  • Mastermind meetups and mini-retreats
  • Brand or product launches
  • Networking breakfasts or community building sessions

A quick note for photographers + content creators:

This space isn’t available to hire for client photoshoots or content days run by other brand photographers. It’s one of my boundaries, and I’m sticking to it!

If you’re a business owner shooting for your own content at your event — absolutely fine. But if you’re planning a paid shoot day with clients, this isn’t the right fit.

Want brand photos or B-roll while you’re here?

This bit’s totally optional but if you’d like to make the most of the space, I can capture professional brand photos or short-form video content while your event is happening.

Think:

  • You welcoming guests
  • Action shots during your workshop or talk
  • Candid behind-the-scenes moments
  • A few polished portraits while you’ve got your hair nice and your coffee warm
  • A mini brand shoot for each of your guests.

What’s included (and how much is it?)

You’ll get exclusive use of the studio, access to the kitchen and bathroom, tables, chairs, Wi-Fi, and selected props if you want them. There will be tea and coffee & we can even arrange for catering too.

Hire options:

  • 1 hour – £75
  • Half day (4 hours) – £250
  • Full day (up to 8 hours) – £400
