Last week I spent a hilarious afternoon with florist Keeley Crookbain doing some seasonal videos for her business Bloomindale florists. 

Like everyone, Keeley’s business was hit by lockdown and she found herself having to pivot (which she has done amazingly well), rather than give up hope. 

One of the things Keeley is really good at, is teaching and delivering workshops… but she couldn’t do them anymore. So we created some videos for her wreath making kits instead.  In just two hours we created 1 main workshop/teaching type video, 1 promotional video and a fun social media video too. I was then able to create 5 more ‘sneak preview’ videos from the main video for social media. 

All branded with her logo, some seasonal music (a little bit of snow too for the fun video) and mainly, the videos were clear, crisp and very pretty! 

So, today I’m wondering how I can help you with your online courses. 

You know, the ones you started recording on your iPhone or webcam and then realised it just wasn’t giving you the look or sound that you wanted.  Like those videos of people you see on Instagram that look so polished and it makes you wonder if they have a full team of experts doing it all for them. 

Well the short answer is that they probably do have a lot of help and you should too if it saves your sanity. 

You’re already running a business, dealing with family life, and let’s not even get started on the C word… (and for clarity I mean Covid…only explaining that because when I asked Mr Scott what the C word was he thought of a different word entirely 🙄).

Now if you could only figure out how to add subtitles or your logo (or a pretty end screen that directed people to your website), and make it sound less like you’re sat in a car park or a kids playground.

And you can guess where I’m going with this.  That’s where I can help you. 

With just two hours of your time (or longer if you need it) we could create a mini series of video content for your website, or a longer intro video instead. Basically we’ll use the whole time to create video that you’ll want to share (or sell!). 

We’d choose the right backdrop for the video. So if you fancy a pretty office environment we can, if you want to be walking down a country lane we can. Or maybe you’d like to be sat in a bright modern Kitchen…it’s all a possibility! Maybe we’d just do it in your own home? 

We’d include your logo and a nice intro, music (subtitles if needed), the video content and then an outro including your logo and a call to action or your web address.

It can be branded in your colours and we can even make smaller snippets of the video(s) to tease people on social media.

There’s really nothing like getting front of people with a video that you’re really proud of, and let’s you charge what the content is really worth! 

And believe it or not December is a great month to do it.  You’ll be ready to really rise to the challenge of 2021, before the craziness of Christmas begins!
